Hats off to Stevie G for having the balls to come out on sly sports and say he should have been sent off and for apologising to the team, the manager and fans.
You don't see too many players come on camera and do that. Can't stand Liverpool and can't stand him, but fair play.

I was very happy to see the back of him. He most certainly would have got a goal. I kind of feared him.

What choice did he have? It was stonewall and he doesn't want to be remembered for that when he leaves Liverpool this summer. It has also taken the focus away from how Liverpool were outclassed today, so benefits the team too.

Gerrards "challenge", very nasty.Skeletor too.And it isn't Stonewall, which refers to a stubborn resistance but stone-cold which means what it says, cold as a stone, can't argue with that.Phil Neville says stonewall all the time because he's as thick as a dry stone wall.
