Just going to mention a player on here that I don't think has EVER been talked about and that is the progress of Harry Kane.
My question is do you think Wilson can be as good? And also, do you think Kane will move to a bigger club than Spurs, such as ourselves in the near future or will he be loyal to the club that made him what he is?

Been with spurs for 11 years I believe and seems like a decent guy with his feet firmly on the ground, I think it would be hard to convince him to leave spurs but, who knows?

He is going to be special I think, I don't think this is a flash in the pan. He reminds me of players like van Nistelrooy who just know where the goal is and where the keeper wants it to be least. And we all know how good Ruud was.

England games will be a good marker, hopefully Kane plays off of Rooney. If that goes well then we will surely be interested? Two English strikers, sounds great to me. I would love to see us have more English players and was hoping that Phil Jones would of been ready by now. Jones, Shaw, Carrick, Rooney and Kane would make a lovely start to our team with foreign players filling around them.

I mentioned him a few weeks ago saying he is precisely what we need in a LVG system, a striker who can make chances for himself and works hard. May have gotten lost in the myriad of posts I make, but I said £30m would be a perfect deal.

Was always talked about at Spurs but they feared he wouldn't be anywhere near fast enough to be a success, he went away and over the past year and half has worked incredibly hard on his fitness and speed and look where it's got him. He's put the work in and it's great to see, especially from a young English player.

As I said, I am genuinely excited about seeing Rooney and Kane link up for England, we shall see how that works. If it works well though I could see us at least attempting to get him in the summer.

No probs Fresh, it was mainly taking about how exciting Wilson & Kane would be and then saying we should sign him. I just got a few disagrees as per usual with the sign Kane thing and a couple of comments about Levy pulling our pants down (which will probably be the reason we don't do it in fairness).

Sorry to disappoint, He has already come out and said he would never sign for United. Shame really he looks like the kind of forward we need and he is English.

I would give kane a couple of seasons first remember gary birtles from forest brilliant came to us and could not hit a barn door

What I like about Kane is he is a very hard worker and will run himslef into the ground up until the last second of a game. He has benefitted greatly from being on the fringes of the first team and being sent out on loan to lower clubs which has instilled a real work ethic into him.
I would like us to do something similar with Wilson. He has more pace than Kane but must develop some of the traits Kane has in terms of being aggressive, determined and ruthless infront of goal. Good to benchmark for Wilson to aspire to in a few years.
