Hoping the journos will ask some relevant questions today starting with updates on injuries.

Really don't understand the logic of not providing more information on players like malacia, shaw and some of the long term injuries by the club.

The press conferences are a farce atm and they are all asking loaded questions looking for headlines to do hit jobs imo.

I'd hope one of the questions is why do we have so many injuries?

Personally I think we were very unfit at the start of the season, against Wolves we were shocking hence, the injury count pile-up.

Ahmad I agree, it would be nice if we had further info on the injuries.

ETH has made it clear that he is under instructions not to give information on injuries, not sure if it’s a confidentiality issue but the club rarely says what injuries people have and exactly how long they will be out for these days if you notice, all pretty vague.

I know but a bit frustrating with the surprise of seeing these team sheets come out and you think oh dear. When I saw the Burnely team sheet i went from thinking 3-1 or 4-1 to I will take any win:)

Injuries especially to our defense is ridiculous.
Shaw, Martinez, Varane, AWB. That's our first choice defense.
Add to that Malacia, Maguire, Reguilon.
We need to grind out results in this tough phase.

We've been here before under Sir Alex and under LVG too when he player McNair and Blackett and Scott Wooton.

I remember there were games where Fernandino player CB for City.

This happens. My only concern is playing players who are very crucial to the team in a league cup.

Ahmad, I can't remember the last time I thought Manchester United were going to win any game 3 or 4-1, especially away. Our wins are very tight these days.

I thought we were going to get 3/ 4 players back and respond. Wishful thinking I guess. team sheet tonight should be interesting the issue is even if the likes of mount and Ambrabat are back it will take him 3/ 4 weeks to be really match fit. he has been out I think about 2 months now.

We are weeks/ month away from fielding our best 11 and seeing what they are capable of. Need to grind ugly wins in the meantime.

I loved Amrabat post match interview.

“My form is not great” Good attitude and knows he needs to get match fit
“I play any position, even goalkeeper. I play for the badge”

Need more like that!

Agreed, I didn't see the game but use an app to check on scores etc and it showed Amrabat at left-back. Wondered what was going on there as this hasn't been mentioned about him. Very useful to have a few more adaptable players.
