So let's put the season stalling to one side.

New topic, Ole.

I've been his biggest critic and whilst I still feel he's not the best man for the job. I am starting to see a direction. And hypothetically if the season resumes and we manage to get a UCL spot and/ or a trophy I wouldn't be opposed to him seeing next season.

I think whilst he has shown ineptitude in tactics, he has also shown ability in many games tactics wise. I feel he has grown as a manager. I mean it's all hypothetical considering the current social climate but I agree with a few more experienced heads, players replaced properly and deadwood cleared. I think he has the opportunity to succeed. I don't think we'll necessarily win the league under him but it will of course been a huge step for him and learning curve. Imo he has improved along with the team.

I too felt and worried that he was probably out of his depth but I think he has proved me wrong and I really hope it remains so.

I can see improvement throughout the team, LS has had a great run of form at left back, AM is playing at a more consistent level than he ever has and as for Fred I'm almost speechless. Plus the signings he has made have all been positive.

Come on Ole.

I'm not sure Ole will be the man to make us champions again sadly. As much as I would love him to.

That said, we have a direction and we have seen improvement. Without the club structure being addressed I'm not sure if sacking a manager who seems to be taking the club in the right direction to hire an unknown quantity seems a risk we don't need to take.

If the club has a DoF in and had a top to bottom vision and there was another manager who better suited that vision then I could see why the club might make the decision to move on from Ole. But we don't.

I think it takes time, and people need to be patient.
Each to there own but I like the direction we have taken and honestly think we are on the right path.

Agree jred. The ship has turned. Ole being an ex player, a club man IS an asset and is not sentimental bull crap.

I would be shocked if he is not still managing next season.

Despite all this, I still love having him in charge - compared to Jose, LVG, Moyes he’s brilliant.

The team spirit and togetherness is stronger than ever.
Lots of players looks to have improved.
More quality signings will push the average players out of the line up as we have seen Bruno ousting Andreas and Lingard.

After the next transfer window, we will get the clear outlook of Ole's squad.

Fickle bunch we have. He's out of his depth and lucky the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea are garbage as well. Needs to leave when the season ends to get someone in that knows what they are doing.

I feel he would be a great DoF.
Great signings, seems to have a clear idea of the style for the club.
Not sure if he has the tactical nous to be up there as a manager, maybe he just needs another influence in his staff, in the end SAF was basically a DoF with great coaches under him.
Solskjaer could fill a similar role.
