A question for any Ed’s, or any fellow posters.

With Ole seemingly locked in for the job, and taking part in long term planning including extending contracts, targeting potential transfers and planning preseason, where does that leave the club in their search for a Director of Football? Is that still a priority the way it was months back, and what I really want to know is whether having Ole as the manager will encourage the club to select a DoF with close ties to the club rather than scour Spain, Italy, etc for an experienced candidate who might have no connection to the club or relationship with OGS.

Basically this story has been silent in recent months, and I’m curious where things stand and what we can expect. Thanks!

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with OGS, Ed Woodwoodward is the issue.}

Are people above Woodward aware that there's an issue and if so is there steps to resolve it?

{Ed002's Note - One person at least is.}

Can you expand a bit on your reply? What does it mean when you say Ed Woodward’s issue? Is he reluctanct to bring in a director of football? Or to give up some of his responsibilities? Regardless, does ole as coach make a director of football from within the Manchester united family more likely? Thanks so much.

{Ed002's Note - He is running things as a dictatorship - I am not sure what you mean about “family”.}

Noy good times if Ed is acting like a dictator.
