I fear that Wednesday will be another reality check for us. Our first pick. Midfield three were not up to the challenge in the home leg so to expect their replacements to do any better is not sensible. I also got the feeling that PSG really eased off the throttle once they got a good lead so if they decide to have a real go at us it coukd be a real beating. Whatever the result this tie should give the manager and board a truer understand of how badly we need to improve to compete.

I actually think its the opposite.
We are about to play one if the best teams in the world, away with a massively depleted squad .
I don't think there is any reality check, its a massive ask .

The game was even until martial and lingard were forced off.

Yes they are a quality side with some quality players but that counts for nothing if the other team has more desire and heart.

As long as we give 100 percent and leave the pitch with no regrets I'll be happy. What will be will be

We need a good performance to take into Sunday's massive game.

Seems like every match now is a reality check for us according to some. Just like the Soton match with sanchez's injury, maybe throwing a spanner in the works will lead to a positive result. Fingers crossed.

I agree i don't see it as a reality Che n at all.
We jnow the squad is weak in certain areas that's not in question.
Sometimes adversity means that the remaining fit players pull together and can achieve results in one off games or over short periods that they would not necessarily achieve over a longer sustained period.
It really is a no lose situation for ole and the players.

Agreed. I think for the first time in years we are being realistic. We know the squad cannot challenge for a title or Champions League right now.
