I thought Perriera played well when he came on.

Initially I thought oh no, when he came on but he played well, dig in deep.

Hopefully given the injuries he takes his chance.

Loved his commitment, he was right into it. I think he needs to improve to be at this level, even as a squad player. Stranger things have happened, but don't think he is suited to the epl and will settle in Spain or Italy.

The lad is a good player, hasn't really worked out for him yet at united but he is a talented lad .
The usally suspects are on his back but this is a great chance for him.

Agreed mad batter. With the few injuries, players like Pereira, Fred and some youngsters will get a chance.

Fingers crossed they make a good fist of it. Good player Pereira.

Hopefully he'll be allowed to play a bit further forward where he belongs, rather than used as a defensive midfielder.

I was impressed with his passion. Of all the games to be dropped into this was most probably the hardest in terms of emotion. He also couldn’t count on the experience of Herrera or matic behind him so I thought him and mctominay were really disciplined. He has clearly got talent. But he seems to big a confidence sort of player. I thought he struggled a little with the pace of the league. Was holding onto the ball a too long. But I do think with a run of games we may see a more settled and confident player. It really is a great opportunity for the likes of Andreas, Fred to get a run of games and prove they have what it takes to succeed at united. I agree with comments that Andrea should play further forward. Interested to see what happens. But he really needs to get used to the pace of the league and realise he cannot hold onto the ball too long.

Of course he is a good player. Anybody doubting that needs to give their head a wobble.
But is he good enough for united. So far the answer seems to be no. He has had a couple of loan spells that didn't go great in Spain.
He now potentially has a chance for a sustained run. If he delivers then he has the opportunity to earn a squad place next season.
Only time will tell. He might get the chance that's sll he can ask for the rest is up to him. Rash took his chance when forced into the team. To a lesser extend so did mctom. let's see if pierira can take his chance.

I thought second half we bossed the midfield and that was with 2 academy graduates in there. Let's give him a run and see how he does. In some ways all these injuries should take the pressure off results a little bit and we can see if some of the youngsters can step up.

I know top 4 is on everyone's minds but the injuries mean we may see some more youth. I'm looking forward to it.
