Delighted we have caught Arsenal and are catching Chelsea and they play each other next which means one or both will drop more points. Happy days.

As for today I thought it was a game of 2 halves. In the first half Ole out thought Poch and we dominated, second half I think the reverse happened. Looking at the stats whilst Spurs had a lot of chances, they had 11 on target whilst we had 8, so I know DDG was MOTM but overall it was pretty even. On another day we would have drawn or lost but the commitment and effort was top.

Rashford is now first choice CF which puts Lukaku’s future in doubt and he didn’t do himself any favours when he came on. It’s clear that is Ole’s preferred starting eleven and would any of us change anything? Great to see Herrera back in, his work often goes unnoticed and Matic looks refreshed.

Pogba looks a different player but I still think he has another level he can step up to, and that will have a huge impact if he can dominate consistently.

Onwards and upwards, if we can see Brighton off at home next week we will make up more ground, other fans may scoff but they are looking over their shoulders right now.

Delighted with this. Ole is certainly playing himself in to the job! First big test passed with flying colours. The team are confident and happy. When this happens natural talent shines through.

Obviously upgrades on jones, young and matic but other than that not much at the moment needs doing.

What could have been if we got rid of Jose earlier. Fantastic result against a very good spurs side. De Gea was magnificent. Lindelof and Herrera amazing. Herrera is so pivotal for us. He is everywhere and controls the tempo of our side. I actually think our midfield trio has a great balance to it. People call for a matic replacement but I think he’s been one of our best players. Someone like ndombele rotating with him next year would be brilliant. Fred needs to play the Herrera role. Tackle and give the ball to matic and pogba. All in all we are on such a great run. I really do think a cb is a must in January though. Jones was caught out far too many times. I think we need to pay top dollar even if it’s the winter window. The most in form team in the league. Take each game as it comes and you never know where we will be in the summer. Let’s just say bring on PSG.

Ole set us up right and it paid off in the first half, but I thought it was dangerous to sit back like we did. We got away with it. Two winnable games coming up.

One reinforcement at the back and a push for top 4 is very doable.

Matic was superb in the first half, cut out lots of attacks.
His ability on the ball is underrated.
