Spend over £50m on Fred, but play McTominay instead in what you have described as a must win game.

We're at home against a team with two points and 4 goals, and Jose still has to play two holding mids. This is a manager who has either completely lost the plot, or wants his severance package.

Should be sacked for gross misconduct. Playing McTom as CB the other day. He is more bothered about ruffling feathers than winning football matches.

He's just using a tried and trusted method. Playing McTominay in place of Pogba last year had the desired effect on making Pogba up his game. If only for a little while.

Jose needs to play his trump cards now. And for a manager who is often slated for not giving youngsters a chance consistently picking one he gave a debut too is a good argument to have if your critics come calling for your head.

Fred, has been okay for us so far but is clearly still adapting to the EPL. So I can see why Jose might choose to go with a player who has already adapted.

Could be worse, he could have Fellaini on instead of McTominay.

Problem is Mctominay is absolute tripe. His touch is so poor, yet he keeps playing. he's 7ft, so that qualifies him for a Mourinho team. Pogba and Matic have been useless. Matic is a goner and Pogba doesn't give a toss.

While i don't agree with a lot of what Pogba does i have to say i disagree with AAA he is the only player on the pitch today who i am actually looking at and would mind if he was pulled off all our better work is going through him.

I thought Pogba stepped up and was the reason we won the game in the end. Matic needs to be dropped has looked slow and poor for a few months now.

That second half performance was the spirit and tenacity that utd have had since i remember. Yes that has been missing for the past few years but tonight we really did show a flash back to the fire that we all know and love. Even martial looked game, pogba was class, lukakus touch is like a blind fella cutting your hedge but his effort is up there. I think the majority of the current team don't respect or understand the prestige of playing for our great club but today there was glimpses of passion. Over the past few weeks k ivejumped from side to side of the fence on whos at fault but in all honesty i just want to see the fire back. The passion and desire and fight but more than anything pride. If your not proud to be at this club then you shouldn't be here. And that's from bootman to owner.

I don't know about all of the other stuff, genuinely don't know but I'll tell what I do know for 45 mins yesterday I felt like a Manchester United fan again and it was glorious.

I woke up this morning and felt like a united fan again.

The manager takes enough stick when we are crap so we must give credit when he deserves it.

According to fellaini he simply said at half time stop being afraid and enjoy the game.

I know I did if we play like that every match I'd give him a 10 year contract.

it's been one 45 minute performance all season, this is Manchester United we should be producing that every 90 minutes, he should have been sacked long ago.
