So am. that ed Woodward doesn't seem to be too bad at his job.

hmm, how hard can it be to turn up with a blank cheque? Id' reserve praise until he is toe-toe with another clubs rep, with the same money to spend - that's when skill is involved.

Nevertheless it's nice to be signing a truly world class player in his prime.

Tbf Beast Ed did stand toe to toe with city and got his man, City didn’t have the pull United have so as much as money is involved it was a case of saying sign for United not city and its nearly done.

WRD that doesn't suit beasts narrative. He obviously doesn't see that United did go toe to toe with a club with much more money.

Nice to see the club continue to show ambition to be number 1.

Beastie mate are you excited about Sanchez signing? I know you have questioned the clubs ambition and Jose at times which I have agreed with. However, let’s say we had the Monaco manager in charge, do you think he would have been able to lure Sanchez over pep to united?

I do think that Jose was part of the lure for Sanchez. He is still a top 3 in the world manager and I do feel that we have been able to sign a higher calibre of players because they want to play for him.
