When vidic signed a pre contract with inter I wanted him to be stripped of the captaincy and told to train with the kids.
If you are not 100% commuted to the club you have no business being there imo
So if fellaini does likewise and tells the club he wants to leave I would want him gone and sold or to train with the kids for the last 6 months.
He has wanted out for a long time now despite the manager asking him to stay. So if you don't want to be here tell him to go now because there is no football to be had here for any player that wants to commit to a different club.

Vidic also got told to defend like jagielka lol, he gave absolutely everything. But I agree with what you’re saying ken, that’s why I was questioning Pereira the other day!

Seems a bit harsh on Vida if you ask me. He was past his best and knew it and Serie A isn't as physically demanding as the PL.

On to MF. I get your point but maybe he wants to play more? Maybe the boo boys got to him? Who knows. I'm sure he'll be pro about it regardless.

Mourinho wouldn’t let him go in the summer when he wanted to go. We could have got some money for him. Is he told the club he wouldn’t sign a contract it’s Mourinho’s fault for not allowing him to leave in the summer.

So are you saying in a FA or UCL semi final if we had an injury crisis in midfield you would rather play someone like Blind or one of the kids, risking us progressing to a final, over Fellaini who has actually played well under Mourinho?

Do people in England get told to move from their usual cubicle or office and work in the janitor's closet when they give their notice to move jobs Ken?

Gives 100% every time he is on the pitch as long as that continues I don't see a problem .

There will be other players that probably know they are leaving in the summer, maybe even Jose.
As long as they give 100% don't see an issue.

I don't see the issue as long as the player is giving 100 percent. If he isn't then he can be told to sit at home or train with reserves. As long as he gives everything then I've no problem with it.

What about a player who knows he is moving in the summer like Ronaldo when moving to Madrid. Remember Fergie convinced him to stay an extra year. Would you also have gotten rid of him? He didn't do too bad in those last 6 months.

Come on Ken. Vidic essentially got a new job as his contract was expiring. If a co worker of yours got a new job do you lose all respect for them?

Vidic deserves the captaincy until the day he left. The guy was a model pro and an absolute warrior.

Ken a very reasonable shout mate. But for me vidic can't be compared in the same breath as Fellaini. If he eventually walks away for nothing then it would be the final insult in what was always an overall flop of an overpriced signing. And I don't care for any of the "oh but he does always give 100%", "oh but he plays regularly for Belgium". He should never have been signed in the first place by a manager who should never have been in our dugout.

But Jose wants him so what does that say about either fellaini or Jose?

Ken - so when Utd make it clear to a player that he will be available for transfer is it ok for them to stop playing and go and train with the Youth squad, after all where is our commitment to them. If I believe the posts on here about 6 or 7 players will be allowed to leave in the summer, so we would end up with a very small squad.

jred Jose probably wants him to stay due to the lack of other options and his tendency to take the option of hitting it long to a player like fellaini. Neither of the above fills me with positivity about this player or joses desire to keep him.

But that is Jose choice, is he wrong?

He has started 3 league games this season. I'm quite sure jose would like him to stay as a squad player it gives him another type of option. He obviously doesn't fancy being at bit part player at his age. If he stays and doesn't sign for anybody else i'd prefer that. But the moment any player signs for another club then imo they are compromised and should not play for our club.

So if he doesn't sign for a team but privotely agrees that ok?
Missed 13 through Injury played 90 minutes 3 times in a row before he done his knee.

I'm not talking about who is right or wrong, just giving my thoughts on the player.
