Hi lads, looking for a bit of advice if you've got the time, I'm going the derby match on Friday, first time I've been able to go for years so I'm just wondering what the best way of travel is, I'm travelling from Warrington so the train to Piccadilly and then the tram looks a good shout, or I can park at my mates in fallowfield and grab a taxi or something from there but I'm not sure how hard it would be to get one before/ after the game.
Cheers in advance lads, looking forward to seeing the great messi lingard in the flesh.

Metrolink is decent but can be very busy on a matchday.

Personally I park near media city on Broadway in one of industrial parks. There is also street parking round there too. But it’s 25 min walk over.

Lowry car park isn't too bad either if you are thinking of driving.

Tram from Piccadilly into exchange quay works fine and then follow the crowds up to the stadium. Might be busy going back later on but should be plenty of trains on a Friday night.
