I don't get the mikhytarian knocking at the moment. When pogba plays, he links the team. He releases mkhiktaryan to play his through balls and interlinking play with the attackers. We don't have pogba and hererra has been the problem as he's not as attack minded as Pogba. This is exactly the point I made at the start of the season. One injury to Pogba and our team is not the same.

Totally agreed AAA. It’s no coincidence that when pogba got injured then miki’s game has dropped dramatically. Although I do think he has been poor, when pogba is back it will make him more potent. The fact Jose keeps persisting with him suggests he does rate him so I believe he will come good as he is far too talented not to.

THe others should up their game if a player is out injured. It’s a team game, Mhkitaryan does go missing when you need him to up his game and dig deep.

Pogba has little to do with what is wrong with mkhitaryan, he gives the ball trying to play like a messi or a ronaldo running at multiple players but sadly with not even half the talent, you don't need pogba to make sure your 5 yard passes reach the player you intend them to reach to. When we were winning his stats and our wins were papering over his actual performances which have been mostly poor.

Miki has been coasting through games. I don't know how you can relate the two. His attitude has been poor of late, switching off, been quite lazy at times and his distribution and contribution to games have been extremely poor. I'm not sure where pogba comes into it.

Mkhitaryan is a bottler. Goes missing in most games and bluffs his stats by assisting the 3rd or 4th goal.

Mata or Ozil would be far more effective.

On TV can imagine he looks ok but live he is awful for 80 mins and ok to good the other 10.

Not doing enough for me AAA I agree with Mad Hatter with Pogba out we needed him to step up and be our main creative force not go missing. CSM is right Pogba being out doesn't explain why he has surrendered possession so often and his final ball and decision making has been below par recently. He's a typical No 10 for me, great player on his day but inconsistent and a bit of a luxury. I think we need more if we're serious about challenging for the big trophies in my opinion.

Mkhitarian is an attacking player mourinho wants 3 quarter of his game about chasing back and defending that's not he s game.

For me there is no room for passengers in a team game if were to challenge for the top honours.

He's not played well for a few games therefore we should lynch him as he is clearly completely useless.

Time will tell. But I think you'll see a different player when pogba and Fellaini return to the team. Mkhiktaryan is never going to chase back or win possession. I'm really looking forward to Pogba coming back as the team simply don't look the same without him. Mata at no10 will not be great.

Although miki has been poor something I have been pleased to see is he has improved his work rate and has been tracking back and putting a shift in. Maybe clutching at straws as he has been pretty woeful but I am happy to see that he is putting a shift in. Hopefully when pogba is back it should spark the team into a higher tempo because pogba really is the heart of our team. Everything good attacking comes through him and we have thoroughly missed his arrogance and skill on the ball.
