There have been some interesting stories coming out about a Jose tantrum in the dressing room where he supposedly laid into the players. Moments like this can be watersheds, do the players sulk or do they man up and show what they are made of?

I'm glad that it's Spurs up next in the League as they are flying and we need to show our cojones. Injuries aside we need to see passion and commitment, as well as an improvement in form. Players under real scrutiny for me will be Herrera, who looks a shadow of the player from last year, Lukaku, who suddenly looks a little clunky, Martial (although I'd be amazed if he gets picked), Lingard (who I like) who huffed and puffed but didn't influence, and the CBS, Jones excepted, whoever they are.

Years ago we lost a game badly and the next day Giggs (who was still playing) gave a team talk along the lines of "we are bette than that, we are Manchester United". SAF watched on and it had the desired affect, we went on a run. I look at the squad now and I can't pick a player I think could do that. I guess it's down to Jose.

Whatever the result I want to see commitment, passion, aggression and a demonstration that we are Manchester United.

AJH - Herrera started pretty slow last year and then his performances grew. He could be the one to be vocal in the dressing room.

I think that the team is genuinely missing Pogba. I know he was given a rough ride by many last season given the fee, but he is pivotal to the way the team has played.

Agree with your post though, think that the team need to man up following Jose's dressing down and hopefully we'll see most of the players stand up and show the commitment, passion etc.

Hopefully the players take some responsibility and take it as a chance to prove how good they are and not be prima donnas and sulk. Jose can only do so much but once they step over the line apart from half time jose’s influences woukd be minimum.
We’ve not been playing well but it seems to me some are ready to use any opportunity to jump on Jose, we are 2nd and a win away form knock stages of the champs league something we’d have bitten peoples arms off for a while ago, teams go thru rough patches, injuries occur, it’ll happen to City and Spurs at some point too.
We miss Bailly and Pogba more than I think we all thought we would, a tough couple of games coming up now and if we can gain 4 or more points out of that fantastic but don’t be shocked to see a pragmatic approach v Spurs despite being at OT, going toe to toe with Kane and co could backfire, a scrappy 1-0 win will do me.

AJH, honest question mate. What is it you like about Lingard?
