I fail to understand why the Perisic deal has dragged so much. If we feel its a waste of our time then we should walk away. Surely Mourinho and co. Must be having alternatives to him.

Also the fact that we lost out on Semedo makes me wonder if we are looking at Aurier or Heinrich at all- that'd be a RB, we still need an LB (I recall Ed002 mentioning Aaron Martin) and LW (Perisic) & CDM (Fabinho/ Matic? ) . IMO the summer should've been one to make a statement to PL rivals.

I'd love it if we got Sanchez from Arsenal.
