I've heard that if Ed doesn't pull his finger out on his transfer dealings then he will be taken out into the street and shot. Can't be any coincidence that since he became top dog everything takes an age to complete and in the meantime some other club enters the race and gets the job done. If things don't happen fairly quickly in this window I can see the role being removed from him. Fair job on the sponsorship deals and general background stuff but his negotiating over players really seems to leave a lot to be desired.

This the same Ed who got us Pogba and Ibra and Baily?! Yes we paid shed loads but come on its only July 4th and as in any commercial transaction you need a willing buyer and seller. Judge him at the end of the transfer window.

Anyone could've got those deals done. We paid well over the odds for pogba. Gave zlatan a ridiculous amount of money. Let's see what he does this year.
