People will criticise Pogba and he wasn't great tonight but apart from Umtiti Sissons and Koman who else did in the French team. Griezman and Poyet almost anonymous. I wonder if it was down to Deschamps tactics or that they just froze. Pepe for Portugal was immense and our old friend Nani also had a really good game. As Sir Alex might have said, football, bloody hell.

Pogba was playing way too deep I felt, that is the problem with international football, players play out of position and then people judge them.

Deschamps blew it, making Pogba the deepest lying midfielder. Kante could have played there, and Martial could have come on earlier. Portugal fought their way until the end, cannot fault their tactics, and they were brave to bring on Eder and it paid off.

Pogba was played too deep to have much of an effect tonight, needs to play further forward. However, he does deserve a bit of criticism because it's all well and good following tactics but there are surely times when the best players decide they have to take a hold of the game? He didn't tonight but he's still young and will get better in the deeper role if played there but he's better if given the license to roam

Not many of the French players turned up tonight though. Poor game overall.

Pogba was totally misused and was told to be the deep sitting player. Not his game so had no effect.

People will be quick to criticise, purely because he's linked to us. Does any question Messi's ability every time he's anonymous for Argentina? No.

People just love to hate us. I say bring Pogba back, purely just because we can. Rub it in the faces of the Liverpool and Arsenal's who are signing second rate players.

I think the point is being missed with pogba and the point being he will improve our team drastically.
