I think everyone isn't giving the team enough credit. From what I saw we controlled the whole first half. Lovely passing of the ball we just couldn't break them down. Second half was better due to the goals. Pretty much the same as the first half lovely passing and control of the game. Lvg clearly said to them at half time go at them. make runs at them and put pressure on. When young was been interviewed he said he was told to make runs at the defence. I assume martial was told the exact same thing by the way he was playing. So I don't think it's all that bad. Don't get me wrong were not perfect yet.

We controlled it but we didn't go anywhere or look likely to create anything, second half when the game was open we looked better

I thought we played well yesterday. We moved the ball really well.
Liverpool came for the draw imo, hence the way they set up. But once we scored we forced them to push out and ended up winning comfortably in the end.

For me, the level of individual performances have been very good. No one is playing poorly. Everyone looks fit and sharp. That has to bode well for continued team progression.

I think next week's game against Southampton is a big game for us in terms of momentum. If we go there, play well and win, I think there will be a growing belief that we can push City.

I just think they deserve a bit of credit. They went and done what was needed to be done. confidence boost after the loss to Swansea. Young changed the whole game for me to be fair he should of got man of the match

How far into the season can you go tho saying well we got the result to get our confidence going after a defeat. We could have 90% possession, nice passing and looking sharp but playing that way we drew 0-0, won 1-0 by an own goal, won 1-0 by a deflected goal, we lost 2-1 cz of a simple tactical change by Gary Monk and we had no plan b to combat it, we win 3-1 by a one half performance by upping our speed and tempo and playing with about of spirit. Yes we prob had less control cz we gave up possession slightly but I'd rather we gave up 10-15% possession per game and take a risky pass or run at a man and play like we did in the 2nd half, more diversity and creation playing that way but judging by LVG comments post match he obvs prefers the 1st half bizarrely so I don't see much changing and that second half is likely to be the exception rather than the rule and for me that spells too many points dropped and a bore fest like that first half.

I can say it because thus far we are winning the majority of our games and are currently sitting second in the PL after beating our fieriest rival 3.1.

The PL seems tougher than ever before. There isn't a lot of goals being scored. Teams are defending better.

Some of you lot need to be thankful you don't support Chelsea. Can you imagine how that mob feel right now? It is deja vu for that mob.

lol

Welsh red devil: I can see what your saying and I'm not saying it's the most attractive football in the world, but we weren't troubled all first half due to brilliant passing and control. the players executed everything perfectly in the first half. And then took it upon themselves or were told by lvg to up the tempo and it payed of so tactically yesterday what bad can you say about lvg and what bad can ya say about the team the did what they were told and did it very well and it worked. What's there to complain about.

Yeah but we didn't trouble them either in the first half and that's kinda my point we don't really trouble many teams playing that controlled way. I'm not complaining about the result or second half cz that was more of what I want to see. I'd be skeptical tho that LVG told us to play more risqué and so worry it will go back to dull possession not troubling Southampton next time out.

Fair enough mate just thought they done an excellent job yesterday. We can always hope for more from are team. Hopefully it was lvg that told them to put pressure on. Hopefully we can keep going good from this game on and challenger them blue "banker"
