Although this transfer window has been a lot better than previous two in terms of bringing players in and clearing some deadwood, we are still short of resolving the main issues in the team.

We still need a commanding CB and a CM to complement our existing players and so far we have failed to address it, maybe we can bring in some quality players today. fingers crossed.

And I guess not a lot of us fans are happy with the timing of transfers as well as how it is conducted. We should have got players who are attainable, early in the window and later targeted World class ones(which takes time).

We could have got the likes of Blind, Nigel de Jong and Vlaar/similar early in the window which would have taken care of the major issues in the team and would have immensely helped us in the early games. Then we would have had the luxury of pursuing the likes of Vidal/Carvalho - Hummels/Benatia.

Right now, if we could get Nigel de Jong, Vlaar and maybe Lucas Silva(as backup and one for the future), I would be happy. Although would be nice to get Vidal/Carvalho and Hummels.

Let's see how the deadline day unfolds. fingers crossed!
