Good afternoon Ed hope all good with you.
What other transfer business are the club looking to do this Summer?
Many thanks.

{Ed002's Note - GK and perhaps AM else departures.}

Defensive midfielder too Ed002? Could we be looking to bring in someone like Amrabat and pushing Mount/ Bruno into that AM role?

{Ed002's Note - Sofyan Amrabat (DM/CM) Fiorentina were expecting to lose money on a sale but an excellent World Cup has changed that. Spurs contacted Fiorentina through a third party to take him as an Ndombele replacement in the summer, and Liverpool, Barcelona and Nice have had scouts watch him and have spoken with his representatives, but seemingly not Fiorentina yet. His repressentatives walked out on a discussion with Liverpool due to something Klopp said in January and if they wish to revive interest they will need to resolve that, which seems unlikely and the player has made it clear he has no interest in joining Liverpool now. Fiorentina reported Barcelona for making a direct approach to Amrabat in January but they have patched things up and something may be possible, albeit unlikely. Agent has spoken with Arsenal and Chelsea as well. The player says he wants to move to Manchester United, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid and I understand that Atletico Madrid are keen to strike a deal but expect him to move to Manchester United. Barcelona would be open to a deal but this summer looks to be a problem. Napoli consider him an option to replace SMS. West Ham give an unlikely option. A whatif answer may be PSG if they appoint Mr Mourinho as their new coach - but that never happened. A wildcard option will be Inter Milan who are looking to replace Brozovic and will guarantee a starting place for him. Manchester United offer a serious option and I expect a transfer can be completed but they will need to pay more than they want to.}

Great to see ed I would imagine AM would be a younger player to learn from Fernandes? Have seen us linked with a few gks but not any AM, amrabat seems like he would replace Fred and mctominay based on the minutes they got last year, can you give us any idea who we have looked at? Understand if youve answered and I've missed it.

Ed002 thanks for the above information, could I ask which players for the AM role we have interest in?

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Kudus has been of interest but much will depend on whether the club are looking for someone to play of the striker and how Fernandez and Mount are to be used. If it is to be someone to play off the striker then perhaps Ramos would eb a better option.}

Ed - you think the club could still make a move for Ramos?

{Ed002's Note - If they want someone to play off the striker then he would be a very good choice. What they are not going to be doing is buying another outright striker, like Harry Kane or Randal Kolo Muani.}

Thank you so much as always for the detailed info - your clarity is very much appreciated compared to the murky click bait of social media.

Talking of which, United’s budget is often cited as 100-120million (+ sales) . Is this an accurate assessment of what United can afford, or is their spending capacity much bigger - which it would presumably have to be to afford a Kudus or Ramos? Might this be influenced by the Glazers accessing their credit facility or (hopefully! ) new owners coming in?

Thanks as always for any info you are able to provide.

{Ed002's Note - What a club can afford and what they are willing to spend are unrelated. Bugets for larger clubs do not normally exist - potential transfers are dealt with on a case-by-case basis.}
