Not sure if true but rumours of 25% sell on clause in the contract. If true it seems a sensible approach to take a little less now with the potential to earn a bit more in a few years time if players develop.
Could be a good move for Chong as well.

Just been reading we put a 25% sell on clause in Chong's transfer, 30% in future Laird transfers and 40% in Iqbals which suggests although people are frustrated with the low fees, we are getting better at long term transfers with these players.

I think people are getting a bit confused here, Chong left last summer, he is being signed for Luton from Birmingham so we would get £1m.
