Big V

I hope you are right, but there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that may be the case.

These greedy leeches are in possession of a cash cow for them.

Now if profits drop significantly, which let's be honest is probably not going to happen . then maybe but I fear that you are wrong.

I don't think the Glazers are the real problem, to be fair they have spent a fair amount of money, I think the issue is with the structure and the fact that we have Ed Woodward as the Chief Exec .

The glazers are not the problem.

They have funded the team with an absolute fortune for transfers over the past 6 years.

And have never got involved with the way the manager works

The problem is the players and the people in charge of sorting the transfers and contract of players.

The players who are as Jose describes a virus are the problem. Bad attitudes and players thinking they are superstars.

Bolger, that's such a naive viewpoint. The club has spent a tonne of money since the Glazers took over, and the majority of signings have been poor to say the least. But to say the Glazers are not the problem is plain and simply wrong.

Since they bought the club in 2005 they have taken over 1 billion pounds from the club. Every penny of that money was money that the club generated itself. Just for context, 1 billion is roughly what the City owners have invested into City.

As owners I have no problem with them taking dividends from the club, but the club had to pay serious interest on an incredibly hefty loan. Around 70 million pounds a year. 70 million nowaday gets you one Lukaku, but in 2005 that amount could get you two Aguero's.

We sold Ronaldo for a world record fee, lost Tevez to our Neighbours. And in that summer Fergie uttered that sentence that sends shivers down my spine "There is no value in the market".

Not all of that money the Glazers pilfered from the club would have been made available for transfers. But even if half of it was, at a time when world class players were going for 30/ 40 million, we could have kept on top. But we didn't. Owen and Valencia replaced Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bolger, the club has used it's own money every step of the way. The Glazers are proactive when it looks like their golden goose is in trouble. Expect a window were we spend big, but we won't spend clever.

We've been fighting with both hands tied behind our back for too long. If you just want to see how little the Glazers care about the club, look at the stadium. Every one of our rivals have upgraded their stadium in some way. Ours has recently been downgraded, Old Trafford is no longer suitable to host European finals. Shocking.

But the Glazers aren't that bad. They let us use our own money to buy players when they're not using it.

Glazers absolutely are the problem. Good businessmen I saw someone call them the other day. How? A proper businessman would've built a hotel on the club land by the stadium. Someone who cared about the club would've given it an upgrade and sorted the south stand expansion. Not to mention doing a city and building a small stadium near old Trafford for the u23s and women like City did. This us why i'd have no problem with a Saudi takeover.

Mort

I said they were good businessmen and they are. They have managed to take a billion out of the club, hike up it's value and when they come to sell will make a couple of billion in profit and they have done this without investing in the stadium or any of their own money.

Just because they don't do what you want, while still raking it in does not make them bad businessmen.

It's all about the profit and they are making a fortune with very little effort or involvement.

Mort I didn't say it was ok, just telling you how it is.

Football is a business and a very lucrative one at that in the top tier. you can't begrudge them wanting to make a fortune, just because you don't like it

As I said, just because they care more for the money than the football does not make them bad businessmen.

Ed002 is correct in everything he/ she says, we don't understand the business, so we moan constantly because the owners make fortunes.

If you want to change it, find a few billion quid and make them an offer they can't refuse.

Then run the club in your best interests. Mind you there will be a Mort mark 2 who will come on here and say you are ruining the club because you won't do exactly what they want.
