So malcom has gone to Barcelona leaves William a bit in limbo .
Now which club would spend 70 mil on a 29 year old winger.

I think William would be an excellent acquisition. He is pacy direct and makes and scores goals. Exactly what we need. Yes the fee would probably be stupidly high but then again right now common sense with regard to transfer fees had all but vanished in Engkand.

Personally i'd go nowhere near Willian at those figures. i'd rather gamble on an unknown who we could recoup most of the outlay if it doesn't work.

I thought the numbers last year talked about Willian £40m or so if I remember right, were ridiculous. He looked good in the World Cup (so did many players that don't play that way for their clubs), but I can't believe Chelsea were rejecting offers of £55m+ for him.

We should stay away, but wouldn't be surprised if we sign him - Rather Willian than Perisic though.

No way the board will pay 70m for willian. If that was the case we would be better off swapping martial. They could buy better than him for 70m. So far we have paid about 41m for martial.
