Seen some quotes from LVG saying he would've liked to play the football PEP is playing now but Louis didn't have the players to play it. Does he have a point, do you think LVG was heading to city style of play?

Yes, by signing a 31y/ o Schweinsteiger, Darmain, Schneiderlin, Depay etc. many of our fans have forgot just how bad it was under LVG.

For the record, I know it was bad, just throwing it out there.

Wasn't aimed at you WRD, just in general mate, seeing loads of fans saying 'wish we'd kept LBG rather than watch this' etc.

Tbh I think if you look at LVG early career his teams did play very similar to pep I think the difference being that LVG no longer had the hunger or desire we see from guardiola.

It's all the same to me anyhow I'm not really in to that kind of football it doesn't really get my juices flowing.

My ideal brand of football we played in 2007/ 8 that devastating counter attack that kept you constantly on the edge of your seat .

The 7-1 vs Roma was probably the best display I've ever seen.

People also forget Louis record against the top 6 and how bad Moyes was. Did he have the players? No. Did he waste money on some bad players? Yes. Would I have as manager now? No.

Moyes era was a blur for me Mort😂😂, the 3-0 losses to L'pool and City at home were just awful awful awful.

He might have a point. However, every signing he made more or less have since left the club. By the end of this summer that might be all of them.

So I don't think he has a great argument.

Probably best to just ignore anything he says, he was deluded when he was here and he's been even more deluded since. Thinking he could come to United and pass from side to side with no attacking and we would just all accept that was pathetic, we wouldn't be playing like Pep we would still be in 6th like we were under him after 2 years.

Scholes,

I haven't seen many fans say they would rather have kept LVG than play how we are now, there may be reasons why people don't want Jose but we are so much better now than back then.
