Ibra to sign next week. Lukaku will remain first choice.

Does this mean he's back sooner than first thought?

I hope he is 2nd choice and his ego doesn't demand a starting spot, we look miles more fluid and dangerous on the counter without him.

Agreed, not a bad player to have on the bench though. And the other players love him so he is no problem in the dressing room. Not this one anyway. We already have a massive team, imagine chucking him and Fellaini on for set pieces when we need a goal. Along with all the other tall lads in the side.

Great news. can't have too many winners knocking about the place. i'm sure he has been made aware of the pecking order. The players do appear to love him and what he brings. It also gives us a more like for like replacement if lukaku gets injured so we won't have to alter the way we play.
He brings a lot to the camp and is a good example for the young lads to follow. A great option off the bench he scores goals.

I think resigning him is okay if its about squad rotation. i would not want to see rash or martial's place compromised in the line up as we lose a lot of our speed and things slow down when ibra is in the line up.

I think if we sign him it will be on our terms.

Push Mikki back out wide? Is that the Mikki that has four assists in two games playing centrally, won German league player of the year playing number 10 in a non Bayern Munich team and is far less effective as a wide player?

I agree completely that Miki is best played centrally. I would not change the starting line up right now, other than maybe a wide right player for Mata. Or a fully fit and on form Shaw at left back.

I was just suggesting where Jose might play Ibra of he is back fit. I think he will start more games than not.

I don't think Zlatan coming back will have any impact on Martial. Martial hasn't played up front under Jose. We're short on numbers on out and out strikers. This is a welcomed addition!
