Brilliant performance all round from the lads yesterday, Herrera MOTM, some have mentioned him for captain and I'm all for that.
Rashford showed great maturity and I've been one whose backed zlatan but I think I've just seen the benefits of a non zlatan united, not that I'm not a fan of Ibra but that movement is invaluable, Rash has now made himself undroppable for the time being.

Bailly and Rojo were immense, Young, Fellaini, a couple players who have had their critics worked their asses of as they usually do, fair play, in fact 9/ 10's all round the team making Chelsea look poor.
Desire, commitment, tempo and intensity and spot on tactics by Jose, let's hope this gives the team and even the manager who've had set backs with results this season the confidence to kick on now for the rest of the season.

Also, great to see how a committed performance brings us all together as fans, we all want that attacking flair which we showed in glimpses but really what we all want to see is the commitment in performance and we are happy posters.
Onto Thursday lads.

While I agree with you that Rashford is not able to be dropped at the moment, the fact is Ibra will play on Thursday.

Most teams coming to OT are going to get 11 men behind the ball and will not play a high line that benefits young Marcus. So I think Ibra starts up top on Thursday. However, I'll be interested to see if Jose plays Ibra at 10 and Marcus at the 9 just to throw something else in the mixer.

Anderlecht need a goal so it will be fairly open at times and space will appear.

I too see the benefits of an Ibra-less United, but I do not think we are Rashford and the team are quite ready for that that to be permanent.
