Hi,
Ed002 has written some lines about Valdez' and DdG's futures.
Are there any other players who might leave ManUtd during this or the next transfer window? According to less serious/ reliable pages than this one (i. e. the rest of the internet) Rooney will end up in China, Fellaini in Milan, Rojo will be gone (despite being injured), Mata and Herrera are considering their futures, and as none of the WaGs fancy the Manchester weather; seemingly everybody is abandoning "the sinking ship" and if all this is to happen, ManUtd will leave PL the next season and begin as a 7-a-side Sunday league team.
Eds, is it probable that any player (s) will leave ManUtd this January? And if so, who and to which club?

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United's Vanja Milinkovic-Savic has been released from his contract as he is unable to obtain a work permit and will join Lechia Gdansk in January.

Manchester United's Victor Valdes' agent has looked for options in the MLS to no avail and he is likely to return to Spain having his contract cancelled by mutual consent in January. Cruz Azul have held discussions with his agent and expect the transfer can go through - else a move to Espanyol will be an option.

Milan are interested in Fellaini.

There is interest being gathered for Darmain but Varela might be the one to leave mid season as I expect Napoli will make a bid.

David de Gea will leave in the summer for Real Madrid. The summer could also see Carrick and Valencia depart. Mata might be let go. Darmain may want to move on.}

Thanks ed, interesting that darmian may leave so early, perhaps he has struggled to settle in England? Shame really he had a really good start for us but has struggled a bit recently, would the Varela bid from Napoli be a loan or a permanent transfer? Would be a shame to let him go.

{Ed002's Note - Napoli will look to buy the player but Manchester United may want to hang on to him as cover. The situation with Darmain is very different.}

Ed,

Could you please explain the Darmian situation?

{Ed002's Note - He may well be open to leaving and interest in him is being gauged. A representative has spoken with at least three sides that I am aware of.}

Hi ed are you able to elaborate on the darmain situation? If not no problem. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I just have done - certainly the reasons are of no consequence to you.}

I'd lose no sleep over any of those departures, but would be very sad to see De Gea go. I'd hope we would get a good fee that could go towards Lloris or Butland.

Carrick is past it I fear and Valencia is too one dimensional. Hopefully Darmian stays, I like him. I'd carry Fellaini to Milan myself.

De Gea leaving will be a massive blow, there is no other standout world class player in our squad and he has been the best keeper in the world over the last couple of years.

Replacing him will be a tough task. Butland and Lloris would command massive fees as one is English and the other means dealing with Levy, nevertheless they would both be a good choice as replacement for De Gea. Leno or Oblak would also be worth a look.

We can take turns giving Fellaini a piggyback Fresh.
Fair play to him he requested a transfer to come to us but he's just looked like Bambi on Ice since he got here. Good luck to him if and wherever he goes.

With Darmain it's looks like he struggling to adapt to the English game and culture, most Italians struggle outside Italy, I think he hoping for a move to Juventus in the summer, if we could get 20 million in the summer it be good business

De Gea will be on his way to Madrid in the summer, I think Lloris will command the same price as De Gea and most likely be priced out, Butland will command 20-25 million, a good short term option would be Navas but it has to be Butland for me, the amount of pressure United will receive in selling De Gea they will need to appease the fans and I think Butland be the best candidate in his potential and being a rare talented English keeper, plus a move like this for Butland will help and enhance a chance of competing with Hart for the no1 jersey.

I'd be gutted to see Darmian go, there's no real stand out RB's who are available.

De Gea was always going to leave, just fortunately for us we got another year out of him and a few more million thanks to him signing a contract.

I'd invest the money into Butland who is probably going to be England's next number 1 at the forthcoming World Cup if we give him the stage to perform.

Carrick is past it unfortunately and Mata doesn't suit us, I now see what Mourinho was on about when he let him go at Chelsea, racks up a lot of assists but stats mean little when you watch his weekly performance.

I'd be happy to see the back of Fellaini too, he gives it his all and it's not his fault he was signed but he's really not good enough.

{Ed002's Note - The club will try to fend off any move or Darmian for now and I did give you a wildcard RB. The club will look to GK options and Butland may be an option.}

I like Fabinho and Joao Cancelo and think one of those two could do a decent job, I do think we need someone as well with Darmain if it's Varela long term then I have no issues.

Aside from DDG (who we know is most likely to go to Madrid sooner or later), Herrera is the player I'm most worried about. He has really shone when he's been given chances, and yet he keeps getting dropped back to the bench. Add in things like the mistreatment of Valdes and I can see why he might be really starting to consider his future with us.

I really think he could be at the core of our team for years to come. He's not exactly the same type of player as Scholes was certainly, but I strongly feel he can have a similar level of influence for us, and in many of the same ways. At the very least I think he is the best midfielder we currently have.
