Manchester Utd interested in signing Tottenham's Harry Kane.

I'd take him for up to 40million.

Sky are reporting this but still can't see a deal been done

I hope it isn't done either.

Straight swap for Rooney?

£40 mill after 1 good season is ridiculous there are better strikers about for that sort of money

Not sure there were many better strikers around last season to be honest, he was top drawer, the gamble is whether he can do it regularly, if he did and showed even more improvement then 40 million would be a bargain in my eyes.

two words why we should forget harry kane. DANIEL LEVY

Would Kane even fit into United's current game plan? Paying that sort of money for a player would suggest he starts. I doubt Rooney would be dropped, so a purchase like this could mean a switch back to 442?

Would prefer others for that money, never happen anyway with Levy

I think Rooney off of Kane would be excellent. Kane reminds me of RVN.

Kane off Mata would be better.

surly kane owes it spurs to stop for a few more years

He most certainly does Jred, And if I was a Spurs fan and he left I'd be very p*ssed off! That said, at least Mr Levy would get a lot more than he is worth, unlike we ever managed to get, meaning Spurs could reinvest in the team.

But going with my suggestion, they'd be losing a young lad with potential but gaining the dogs b*llocks in exchange, wouldn't they? Who could argue with that? ;-)

Me neither, but if anyone is silly enough to offer £40-50m then levy would be daft to turn it down in my eyes.
