2.) 26 Jun 2013
Thanks Rene, hope you get a PRIME Job

3.) 26 Jun 2013
Thanks to Rene. A good job well done. Let's hope Mr Moyes knows what he's doing. Without any offence to Everton, expectations are higher at O. T.

4.) 26 Jun 2013
Big mistake!
Keeping some of the core coaches should had been logic. The know the players, whos being developed and how the club is run.

I agree with everyone. It is usually academic ofnew broom sweeping clean but as people say, who has knowledge of the players and who has knowledge and experience of European football in the putative Moyes set- up?

6.) 26 Jun 2013
Bad decision by Moyes to let Rene go. Moyes should also have kept the goalkeeping coach (Eric Steele?) but I was quite pleased that he decided not to keep Mike Phelan, who was a poor player and an even worse coach.

Good luck in getting the top job that your skills deserve, Rene.

Who's said Moyes let him go? Maybe he wants a management post!

So we are basically replacing the manchester united coaching staff (described as being the best coaches in world by many in our squad), with the everton coaches. Something sounds odd about that.

At first I was against Moyes appointment, but I have grown to appreciate it. The board seemed to make the decision initially, to service the philosophy and infrastructure of manchester united.

If moyes is going to change everything however, all we have left is a good everton manager. Is that enough? We could, afterall, have had mourinho, klop, or possibly even guardiola, depending on when you think ferguson knew he would retire. (wenger claims he suspected at the beginning of the season. )

Maybey moyes feels the need to define himself as his own man, which is fair enough, but I think he needs to be careful how he goes about that. A lot of the support for him right now, is because we expect him to become a manager of the manchester united tradition, and so are going along with the boards decision.

At this level, Moyes is akin to a youth product, that's shown huge potential. The idea of bringing youth through is that they will buy into the clubs philosophy, not go off on their own tangent. If they do that you might aswell have bought people in from elsewhere.

Moyes can't live in ferguson's shadow if he wishes to be successful, but he can't escape it either, if he wishes to be of any value to manchester united.

Why do people think moyes let him go? If he wanted to let him go, wouldn't rene have left around the same time as phelan and steele (apparently he left because he is retiring). He probably wants a job elsewhere as a manager or decided with everyone else leaving it was time to go.

Wasn't rene being considered for the iranian manager jobor something? going by how well he has donein all his previous roles I think he will make an excellent manager and was only really a matter of time before he would take the next step, I just wish we could have had him for a few more seasons first lol
